Privacy Policy
A practical explanation of how Jobora handles account, workflow, and support data.
This page explains the main categories of information Jobora collects, how we use them to provide the service, and the boundaries we try to keep around workflow, billing, and extension data.
Who we are
Jobora is a website, backend, and Chrome extension workflow service designed to help job seekers organize profile data, autofill supported application flows, generate job-search documents, and manage related outreach or referral workflows.
This Privacy Policy explains the practical categories of information we collect and how we use that information to provide the service.
What Jobora does
Jobora helps users save profile information once and reuse it across supported workflows such as semi-auto form filling, ATS autofill support, job tracker activity, resume generation, cover letter generation, job discovery, referral workflows, and email outreach workflows.
Jobora does not guarantee jobs, interviews, responses, or employment outcomes, and users remain responsible for reviewing applications, messages, and emails before sending or submitting them.
Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email address, password hash, session records, verification state, and login-related security data.
- Profile and job-search information that users choose to save, import, export, or use for autofill, resume, cover letter, tracking, and related workflows.
- Extension workflow and usage information, including feature usage events, extension version details, and limited operational metadata needed to enforce plans, trials, and refund-protection rules.
- Subscription and payment-status information from payment providers so we can confirm plan access, renewals, cancellations, failed payments, and similar billing state.
- Support requests, affiliate applications, and other user-initiated communications sent through Jobora.
- Technical information such as browser or device signals, request logs, approximate IP-derived region or country, and service diagnostics used for reliability and abuse prevention.
Chrome extension data
The Jobora Chrome extension may read supported job, application, or related workflow pages in order to perform user-requested autofill, document, tracking, or automation tasks.
We use that information to provide the workflow the user asked for. We do not describe or position Jobora as a personal-data resale product, and we do not sell personal data.
AI keys and generated content
Some workflows may allow a user to provide their own AI provider keys or use AI-generated outputs such as resumes, cover letters, referral messages, or outreach drafts.
If a user supplies AI provider keys in the extension, they are intended to remain client-side unless a specific workflow clearly states otherwise. Users should still avoid sharing secrets carelessly and should review generated content before using it.
How we use information
- To create and secure user accounts, verify email addresses, and support password reset flows.
- To provide requested autofill, document, tracking, referral, outreach, and supported automation workflows.
- To enforce plan access, trial limits, subscription state, refund-protection rules, and other service controls.
- To provide customer support, investigate abuse, and improve product reliability, performance, and safety.
- To monitor service health, debug supported workflows, and understand whether job-board or ATS changes affect compatibility.
Payments
Payment checkout and payment-method handling are performed by third-party payment providers. Jobora stores subscription and payment-status information needed to activate or limit access, but we do not store full card details.
Sharing and service providers
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service, such as hosting, email, analytics, support, or payment infrastructure providers.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or to protect Jobora, our users, or third parties. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies, local storage, and sessions
Jobora uses cookies, local storage, and session storage to keep users signed in, preserve setup or checkout state, remember pricing-region hints, and support reliable website and extension flows.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain account records, support billing and refund review, investigate abuse, satisfy legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
Retention can vary by data category. Some diagnostic or security records may be kept for shorter operational windows, while account, billing, support, or refund-related records may be retained longer.
User choices, access, and deletion
Users can update account details, adjust saved profile data, export supported profile data, and contact support about access or deletion requests. Some information may be retained when reasonably required for security, billing, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Security
We use practical technical and organizational measures intended to protect account and service data. No online service can promise perfect security, and users should also protect their own devices, credentials, and browser environments.
Children and minors
Jobora is intended for users who can lawfully use the service and related job-search tools. It is not directed to young children.
Third-party platforms
Jobora is not affiliated with LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Zoho Recruit, Google Forms, Dodo, Lemon Squeezy, or any other third-party platform unless we explicitly say otherwise.
Supported workflows can change when third-party sites or providers change their own systems.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the last-updated date on this page.
If you have privacy, support, billing, or deletion questions, please contact us through the support page.
